Exciting news!
Need transportation to the May 1st event at the Holiday Inn West in Laurel, MD?
You MUST PRE-REGISTER for shuttle transportation to/from Greenbelt Metro. Shuttle transportation is only provided for those who pre-register and pay the nominal fee of $3.00 (roundtrip price) at the time of registration. Once you have paid your shuttle fee and registered, we will send you the information you need to get to the party.
Go to the contact us page and select the button that says "May 1." We will also collect items on this day - please remember that all donations should be gently used, free of obvious stains, wear and tear and dry cleaned before donating.
Your help in doing this allows us to move the inventory immediately to the students and keep our costs low.
We are hosting a Magic Wand Party (giveaway) on Sunday, May 15 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Marriott Inn & Conference Center, UMUC!
Take metro to the University of Maryland College Park campus, go to http://www.wmata.com for the best route and time to get there.
Dress Drive News!
HUGE thanks to Morton's The Steakhouse in Arlington, Tysons Corner and Reston! They will be holding Magic Wand Project collections on May 10 (Reston) May 11(Tysons) and May 12 (Arlington).

We will be hosting our final Magic Wand Party for students on May 1, 2011 from 12pm to 5pm at the Holiday Inn West, 15101 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel MD. If you are unable to join us for our giveaways in April, then save the date for May 1!
Didn't have an opportunity to donate? No worries, its not too late! We will be taking donations between 10:30am and 11:30am. Our only request is if you are donating please ensure that the items have been properly dry cleaned before you bring them. For shoe donations - please ensure the shoes are clean and wearable, these are really important for our students who receive them.
Want to volunteer at a Magic Wand Party? Great! We need helping hands for all of our giveaways! Go to our "Contact Us" page and let us know what your availability is.

Please email us if you are available or wish to make an in-kind donation to us, we really appreciate it. Please remember to send or donate only GENTLY used donations and if possible, cleaned before donating to help us defray costs. Remember these are for HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS and SENIORS so we want the items fashionable (5 years old or less) in various pastel colors, petite, juniors, misses and plus sizes and not too mature looking (in other words, something a teen would wear!) If you have dresses, shoes, accessories, or tuxedos to donate, mail them to us or contact us via email for pick up.
